The staff of Preferred Pension Planning Corporation has many
years of experience in all facets of employee benefits. We have
worked with plans of all types, sizes, and situations from the
simplest plan to the most complex. Our staff's credentials include
memberships in a number of well-respected professional
organizations.
Preferred Pension Planning Corporation has never been a
training ground for the inexperienced. Each of our actuaries,
consultants, and administrators has many years of practical
experience in benefits consulting and administration.

Lawrence J.
Zeller

Larry founded Preferred Pension Planning Corporation in
1986. He works closely with both the Business Development team and
the Pension Administration team on all facets of the

Larry graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Wharton School
at the University of Pennsylvania. He has served on the
ASPPA Education and Examination Committee, has had articles
published for several pension publications, and was an
invited guest speaker at many seminars.

Sheryl L. Guss
Vice President |
Sheryl has extensive experience in business management which
she puts to use on daily basis at Preferred Pension Planning
Corporation. Her duties include those of Chief Operations
Officer, Office Manager, and Controller. Her experience
includes work in data management, systems development, human
resources, and practice management. Sheryl received her BA
in History from Muhlenberg College, and a Masters degree in
Information Science from Simmons College.

Bill Hein

Bill’s responsibilities as a Senior Pension Consultant
include the ongoing consulting and administration for one of
the teams in the recurring business department. Bill has
been in the pension administration business since 1986. Bill
received national recognition as the recipient of the
esteemed Martin Rosenberg Academic Achievement Award for his
performance during the ASPPA exams. He has attained ASPPA
designations of Certified Pension Consultant (CPC),
Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA), and Qualified 401(k)
Plan Administrator (QKA). Bill is a graduate of St. John's
University where he majored in math and statistics.

Katie Gnash

Katie shares management of our clients’ retirement plans in
the Pension Administration Department. She oversees and
consults with clients, their advisors and her team of
in-house professionals on the proper and effective
administration of her clients’ plans. When appropriate, she
will suggest revisions and updates to a client’s plan design
to ensure achievement of the plan’s goals. Katie has over 25
years of experience in administration of all types of
retirement plans, and she has attained the ASPPA
designations of Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA) and
Qualified 401(k) Plan Administrator (QKA). She graduated
from the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor of
Science in Resource Development and a minor in Economics.

Michelle has been with Preferred Pension since it was
founded in 1986. She is responsible for plan design and
documentation, takeovers and transfers, and integration of
investment product features with plan administration.
Michelle is a seasoned professional with many years of
experience in pension administration and plan design. She
graduated from the University of Maryland where she received
a Bachelor of Arts degree.

Steve is responsible for the management of information
technology, research, and training for Preferred Pension
Planning. His experience in qualified
retirement plan administration dates back to 1990. He has
achieved the ASPPA designations of Certified Pension
Consultant (CPC), Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA), and
Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA). He graduated from
Drexel University where he majored in Finance and Economics.

Brian is a man with a plan: a pension plan! Brian works with
Preferred Pension Planning Corporation's clients and their
advisors to determine the best plan design to meet the
company's objectives. His background includes work as an
ERISA Specialist, a Pension Research Analyst, and Client
Service Counselor. Brian has achieved ASPPA designations as
a Certified Pension Consultant (CPC), Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA), and a Qualified
401(k) Plan Administrator (QKA). He received his BA in
Economics from Rutgers University.

Heather Yeager

Heather is a Pension Consultant and assists in the
management of one of the teams in the Pension Administration
Department. She oversees individual work assignments for the
Pension Administrators and Assistants. She performs and
reviews contribution calculations and consults with clients
on the administration of their plans. Heather has been in
the field of qualified retirement plan administration since
1999. She has attained ASPPA designations of Qualified Plan
Administrator (QPA) and Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA).
Heather graduated from East Stroudsburg University with a
Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics.

Tara’s responsibilities as a Pension Consultant include
consulting and administration for existing clients, and
managing the workflow for one of the teams in the recurring
business department. Tara has been with Preferred Pension
Planning Corporation since 2002. She has attained the ASPPA
designations of Qualified 401(k) Plan Administrator (QKA)
and Qualified
Pension Administrator (QPA). Tara graduated cum laude from
St. John's University with a BA in Psychology and a minor in
Business.
